Our condolences to James Murphy's family - he passed away suddenly in Malaga Spain on Monday May 7, 2012, at the age of 32.
At the age of 16 Jim played in his hometown for the Nitros for two seasons then went to Fernie for 3 seasons. Our thoughts are with all his family and friends during this hard time...

Congratulations to Tristan Pagura
Kimberley resident Tristan was drafted 158th over all in the WHL Bantam drafted Thurseday afternoon by the Kelowna Rockets. Tristan had a great hockey season playing for the Cranbrook AA Bantam Ice of the SCAHL. Playing in 31 games Tristan tallied 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points in the regular season and adding 8 points in 11 playoff games. Tristan will be heading to Kelowna in August for the Rockets training camp.
