The Kimberley Dynamiters Senior Hockey Club brought worldwide renown to the community. They captured the Allan Cup, Canada’s senior hockey championship, in 1936 and again in 1978. The 1936 team was Canada’s representative at the world hockey championships in London, England in 1937, and successfully brought the world title back to Canada.
